Elemental Match-Up

A game based on Rock-Paper-Scissors. Protect yourself from your enemy's elemental attacks by countering them with the correct elements!

There are five elements in the game: Fire, Water, Ice, Earth, and Nature; each having their own strengths and weaknesses.

HOW TO PLAY

1. A sequence of elements will appear on the screen. These are your enemy's attacks.
2. Use keys 1 to 5 to place elements and counter enemy attacks.
3. The winning element will damage the opponent. Draws will usually have no effect.
4. To win, reduce the enemy's health to zero.

OTHER MECHANICS

• The enemy may sometimes place Mirrors or Shadows in their sequence:
  • MIRRORS - They copy the last element you placed.
  • SHADOWS - Behave normally but are shaded black. Will be revealed  when you are countering them.
• EVENTS - Temporarily alter game rules.
• ELEMENT SHUFFLING - Only in expert mode. Switches your elements, changing   the controls they are associated with.
